Early Years and Musical Foundations
Abbes were born in England, fascinated by music at a young age, and heavily influenced by British rock legends such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple. His love for guitar encouraged him to pursue formal training at the Institute for life style Music Performance (ICMP) in London, where he improved his technical skills and a deeper understanding of composition and sound design. But that was his move to Dubai in 2013, a turning point in his career. He immersed Middle Eastern music in rich wall carpets, studied Arab vacuum systems, explored annoying guitar techniques, and took on the challenge of combining these influences with rock roots.
Rising
In the Dubois music scene During his decades in the United Arab Emirates, Abbes was the driving force behind the Dubai music scene, finding desert echoes of fusion rock bands. The band recognized that they were seamlessly combined with progressive rock elements. Dune Echo (2015), Sons of Sound (2018) Lost in Mirage (2021).
